…Ukrainians significantly contributed to the world musical culture. The evidence of early development of professional    music in Ukraine preserves since XI century: the wall painting in Kiev Saint Sofia church presents the musicians with the musical instruments. Ukrainian professional musical education exists from the XVII century, when in 1632   Kiev-Mogilanska Collegiums (later – Academy) organized. The names of Solomia Krushelnicka, Ukrainian soprano singer who collaborated _with Giacomo Puccini _or of _the
brightest _piano_ performer of the XX century -Vladimir Horovic  confirm the high level of Ukrainian Music Art. Since early XVII century till now Ukrainian composers created a big number of the opera, symphonic, vocal and instrumental works.   Among the last the works for clavier and piano are widely represented.
_ _ Ukrainian piano repertoire by Iryna Riabchun was created since the years of studying in Kiev State Lysenko Music School and in National Music Academy, while she started to perform the works by Ukrainian composers – D.Bortniansky, M.Lysenko, V. Sokalsky, K.Stecenko, M.Stepovy, V.Dovzenko, M.Kolessa, A.Shtogarenko, M.Stepanenko, M.Skoryk, V.Zubicky in the concerts and competitions.
_ _ In 1991 Iryna’s performing of the songs by M.Lysenko and M.Skoryk had been transmitted by Greek television (channel THLE-TORA). In the same year she had played Ukrainian music in her recital in the Khania (Crete island, Greece), which had been transmitted by the Cretan television. In 1994, in Athens she organized Gala-concert “Dedication to Kiev”, performing in this concert with the Greek artists, graduated from National Music Academy of Ukraine. This performance had been represented by TV Channel “Makedonia”.
_ _ In 1995-7 Iryna Riabchun performed Ukrainian music in the concerts, organized by society of Greek – Ukrainian friendship in the State Department Hall in Athens and in the Public Theatre of Piraeus.
_ _ In 1998 Iryna organized and took part in the concert tour of the young Ukrainian musicians in Greece. Two of the concerts were transmitted by “MEGA” channel of Greek television. Pedagogical Society of Athens awarded Iryna with the Silver Sign of Honor.
_ _ In 2002 Iryna released her project "Ukrainian Piano Music of the XVII-XX centuries" in the House of the Scientists and in the House of the Actors in Kyiv. she also recorded "Ukrainian Suite" for the Complete collection of the music by M.Lysenko.
_ _ The same year (2002) Iryna Riabchun performed the program “Ukrainian Piano Music of the XVII-XX centuries” with the colored light supplement in Jakarta (Indonesia) in the program of the International Festival JakArt. This concert had provoked positive reaction of Indonesian press (the articles “Riabchun warms the night with the lighting of Ukrainian sound” (Jakarta Post) and “Colored concert from Ukraine” (Evening News). 
_ _ In January - February 2004 Iryna Riabchun had performed the songs by M.Lysenko and M.Skoryk in India (India International center, New Delhi and Sandre Hall in The Calcutta Music School). The same time within her short tour to Ukraine she had released the project “Mykola Lysenco’s Piano Birthday (In the Lysenko’s “Living room” of the Kyiv Lysenko Memorial Museum. It was the first in the history piano recital totally dedicated to Lysenko’s piano music. Even the composer himself had never played more then few his compositions in his piano recitals.  Ukrainian repertoire by Iryna Riabchun can be represented in the following projects:
