Iryna Riabchun performs works by the jazz composers since 1996. The following project “A day in the life on a fool” by Iryna Riabchun consists of scripted piano songs in jazz style. The First part of the performance represents the circle “The jazz album” for the piano composed in 1982 by Russian composer, member of the Union of the Russian Composers Alexander Iakushenko  (b.1933).  Being professional composer of classical music who graduated from Moscow Conservatory A.Iakushenko wrote many classical works. But all of his life he had been also dedicated to the jazz music.

In the songs of his piano "Jazz Album" A.Iakushenko exposes main components of the jazz stile< relative stiles which were developed parallel to the jazz, and the most popular directions of the jazz music. Each of the songs of the album is supplied by the brief commentary , which Iryna reads before playing.            

The Second part of the performance consists of the scripted original works and with the “releases” of the jazz standards belonging to the famous jazz pianists of the 20th century.  In some of them, like in the releases by Lee Evans Iryna Riabchun tenderly changes authentic text of the author according the needs of the solo performance. For the similar reason she adds in the songs by Chick Corea her own cadences in the points of the songs where the cadences of he Bass and Percussions were planned by the author.
