The following project is a unique representation of the complete collection of the piano music by the contemporary Greek composer Teodoros Haridis. The musical style of this composer can be identified as a new romanticism and can be compared with the styles of C.Franck and Rr.Strauss. Being far from the formal research of the contemporary music style the composer is touches his audience with his emotional fragility and warmth. Teodoros Haridis has a very rare for the present days lyric “melodic” talent and thin sense of music harmony. That is why his music brings to the audience deep and flexible, natural music images of the piano music, a wide diapason of emotions, a rich palette of the music colors. And the audience always appreciate the musical offers of his talent.
Teodoros Haridis (born in 1968) lives in Athens. He was graduated from Eratio Odyo (Athens) and from Sofia “Panthco Vladigerov” Music Academy (Bulgaria). He is a pupil of the Greek composer Dimitris Kapsomenos and of the Bulgarian composer Alexander Raitchev. In 1995-1999 Teodoros Haridis had learned playing the piano under Iryna Riabchun. From the same time Iryna started to perform piano works by Teodoros Haridis in Greece. She also collaborated with the Greek flutists Dionisis Warsos, Dimitris Fotopulos and with the American soprano singer Titika Maraguia performing the chamber and the chember-vocal music by Teodoras Haridis. Several of those performances were recorded on CD.
The full collection of piano music by Teodoros Haridis will be performed and recorded in Athens (Greece) in August - September 2005.
