“Nocturnal music” is one of the exclusive projects by Iryna Riabchun which had been performed in Ukraine as the vocal – piano recital - lecture (mezzo soprano - Olena Dobrovolska, Kyiv, Lysenko Museum, April 2002) in Indonesia within the program of the International JakArt Festival as a lecture –solo concert on the open stage during the full moon night (Full Moon Society, Jakarta, Tamamini, Dolorosa Sinaga’s workshop). This program is dedicated to the evening, sunset and nocturnal music and includes the different works of theprogram music, connected to this matter, as well as works in the genera of serenade, barcarole and nocturne.
The educational purpose of this project is to show history of the piano genre of the nocturne and connections with the history of piano as a musical instrument. Performing the “Nocturnal” program outdoors during the full moon night not only makes it extremely romantic and pleasurable for the audience but helps to understand the sense of the nocturnal genre. The poster for “Nocturnal music composed from the Iryna’s portrait (Photogallery,6) and from the titles of the songs of the Nocturnal program:
